Donald Trump described the Prince of Wales as a "good-looking guy."
Prince William and the US President-elect Donald Trump met over the weekend while attending the reopening of the Notre Dame, the Paris cathedral damaged in a fire in 2019.
The 40-minute meeting was held at the residence of the British ambassador in Paris and the pair discussed a range of global issues but focused on the importance of the UK/US special relationship.
A wonderful event to celebrate the reopening of the @notredameparis.
It is an immense achievement to renovate such a beautiful and culturally important building. Thank you and well done to everyone who has been a part of this project.
Also a pleasure to spend time with… pic.twitter.com/PKzCbwR27J

Trump described the Prince as "a good-looking guy" and "very handsome".
"Some people look better in person? He looked great. He looked really nice, and I told him that," said Trump to the New York Post.
"And I asked him about his wife and he said she's doing well," the president-elect said.
"I asked him about his father and his father is fighting very hard, and he loves his father and he loves his wife, so it was sad."
According to the BBC the reference to the King "fighting hard" was described by royal sources as being about his efforts to continue living actively, rather than a health update. King Charles is currently undergoing treatment for cancer but is continuing his royal duties with overseas trips expected for next year.
Trump has expressed his admiration for the royals in the past. After a meeting with the late Queen Elizabeth II, he described how he unsuccessfully tried to get her to reveal who was her favorite US president or UK prime minister.
